Description[]
Fire is one of the many non-magical elements in the game. It is a hazardous element that deals continuous damage to to most creatures (including the player) and will burn down any flammable object. Fire can be created in many ways such as: Using a fire weapon, deploying incendiary explosives, throwing an incendiary mixture (fire potion), destroying barrels and other objects that store flammable substances, killing certain enemies and etc. However depending on the source/fuel some special types of fire may be created, special types of fire are a little more difficult to obtain, but each has some unique properties that makes them stand out and they can be quite useful.
Variants[]
Name | Description |
---|---|
Fire | Regular fire, it is the most common type but has no special properties. Can be started through conventional means. |
Necro fire | Fire charged with necro energy. Deals less damage than regular fire, but for every turn it burns an unit it has a chance to summon skeletons allied to whoever started the fire. Necro fire is mainly created by necrofire weapons but can also be created by other things that have necro energy. |
Cursed fire | A powerful magic fire that deals more damage than regular fire and sets everything on fire, including creatures that are immune to regular fire such as: demons, Fire Slimes, robots with fire immunity and etc. Cursed fire is created by cursed weapons. |
Disintegrating fire | Also known as Ashen fire, Disintegrating fire is a high-temperature electric flame that cannot be produced by magic. It is a stronger version of Cursed fire, it deals more damage than regular fire and sets absolutely everything on fire, ignoring any immunity that units may have. In addition, it includes properties of electric damage as it causes high damage to energy shields or instantly knocks them down. And has a high chance of disintegrating units, that is, instantly killing the target if it has low health. Ashen fire is created by Ashen weapons. |
Interactions with creatures[]
- Fire Bloody Skeleton and Fire Golem are immune to all types of fire.
- Demons and other units with fire immunity are immune to fire and necro fire, but only have a small resistance to cursed fire and disintegrating fire.
- Ancient demons have resistance to all fires but are immune to none.
- Although many robots lack fire immunity most of them have some resistance to fire.
- Creatures/units without fire immunity or resistance will take the full damage of the flames.
Interactions with effects and items[]
Items[]
- Fire Sigil, Fire Amulet, and Cursed Fire Amulet: Grants resistance to fire.
- Fire Amulet and Cursed Fire Amulet: Increased Fire Damage

- Magic dust is flammable.
- Fireshroom: Grants immunity to fire.
Effects[]
- Energy shields: They put out any fire, including ashen fire, which in turn destroys the Energy shield if it was activated when the target was already set on fire. Energy shields prevent the user from being set on fire but do not protect the user from flames on the floor.
- Fire Immunity: Immunity to fire and necro fire and offers resistance to disintegrating and cursed fire. It is more difficult to set players/units on fire if they have this effect.
- Invincibility: The user will become immune to all types of fire and it is harder to set them on fire.
- Puddles partially extinguish fires (a bit of smoke will appear).
Armors[]
- Centurion: Creates fire when using an energy impulse.
- Pyro: High resistance to fire (50-90%)
- Omega: Demonic essence grants immunity to fire, and Demon rage grants a chance to deal fire damage.
- Survivor and Reaper: Immunity to fire when below 5% health
Perks[]
- Fire Shield: The player's defense is increased while they are on fire.
- Fire Rage: The player's damage is increased while they are on fire.
- Fire Reaction: If an enemy dies from fire, the fire spreads to nearby enemies. Fire damage to enemies is also slightly increased.
Notes[]
- Any type of fire can be used to cook meat.
- When fire sparks hit the grass, a fire is formed and the grass will be quickly burned out.
- The easiest way to make fire is by using a Flamethrower or throwing a Fire potion.
- Touching lava will ignite any player/unit without fire immunity.
- Chaos weapons can create any type of fire except for Ashen.
- There is a trap that releases a powerful stream of regular fire when triggered, it can be activated 1-2 times.
- You can see some sparks when destroying explosive objects, and when using a scroll of destruction cursed sparks may appear.
- Cursed sparks may appear when summoning the undead.
- Some types of armor (such as Reaper) can start fires in certain situations.
- In older versions nothing could be cooked with necrofire because it was considered as a “cold fire".
- Units/players cannot be burned by more than one type of fire at once. If there are several types present, they will override each other.
