Mining tools are a type equipment meant for mining and destroying walls.
- Efficiency of mining tools means capability to remove durable rocks and strong walls.
- Speed of mining tools means the real time taken for a turn of digging/drilling.
- Drills can break multiple rocks at the same time (non-targeted rocks will be mined with an efficiency of 1).

How to find them[]
- Most mining tools are found inside chests and containers scattered through the caves.
- You will always receive an Iron pickaxe when creating a new character.
- The most common way to acquire the Steel pickaxe and the Mining drill from the shelter is by purchasing them after finding their blueprints,
- The only way to find an Energy pickaxe is by crafting it, here are the resources necessary to make one: 15 simple components, 10 electrical elements, 8 plasma elements.
- Goblin pickaxes are dropped by Expert Goblin Bombers or found inside the goblin outpost while both Goblin drills can be found inside chests in the goblin outpost.
Notes[]
- Mining tools purchased in the shelter differ from their counterparts only in appearance.
- Due to the fact that after the first hit on durable rock its hardness drops to 1, the Energy pickaxe consumes energy only once per block. Also, if you are low on energy, it's efficiency will drop to 1.
- Many types of pickaxes or drills can be found under the Christmas tree or in supply containers.
- You can find mining tools from the shelter in the Christmas tree even if you haven't found their blueprints yet.
- The only way to get an Iron pickaxe is by creating a new character.
- After finding and equipping a Plasma drill you will receive the achievement "High-Tech digging" (Google play).
