  • nortecreen que falta una wiki para los enemigos?

      Loading editor
    • Yes there will be a page about enemies eventually. The reasons I have not created it yet are that there is still no offical names of enemies and that many actions of some enemies are different from charater and need more information.Thank you for your help but please consider using the Interlanguage link tool for creating/editing contents with non-English languages: https://community.fandom.com/wiki/Help:Interlanguage_link

    • Un pequeño cuaderno que marca a los enemigos ... solo necesitan nombres y lo que hacen.

  • Hi! Sorry, I know you don't want to add enemies due to unoffical names and actions, but if it's alright with you, could you at least make the basic outlines? Names are not precise, they are usually defined by the wiki creators of said game, or file names of mobs. Also, I am a native English speaker, so I can help you with grammar wherever needed :)

    • Thanks for your edits Shadow7979!

I was trying to make page Gameplay one of the pages that beginner will first read so I was going to keep the page short and precise. I guess it is good to brief readers about with the Gameplay page and provide more detailed infomation with some page-directed links.

And I just created Units page. I hope that you and other players find the sorting of things good. There are still many blank spaces but I hope what's alreay filled will help finsih the page.

One may has difficulties when trying to recognize the units only through texts. Some photos will definitely help but it's too time consuming. Also you may have more clues about the names of units and factions by visiting the RU wiki of Caves.

Edited: Some old discussion on the VK of Caves can also provide infomation about the backgrounds and stories of the units.

  • Would love to be an active part of this wiki, the more heads we have on this project the better. Have noticed some edits and have input of my own, ive been playing nonstop for a few months now. Learning from scratch is tough so this database needs more content and reliability or most the new players are bound get frustrated. Would love to chat and put our ideas together to make this the best resource for Caves(rougelike) that there is. Looking forward to reply, thanks.

    • Thanks for your passion. Currently all registered users of fandom can edit pages of this wiki.

I understand the feeling of beginners on the lack of info about the game but I believe we need to set up some fundamental rules here before we cramp in infomation too fast. What slow me down are that I have to take time to look into different Fandom functions and the grinding of specific items to test them out, despite my time. I guess you and many other players still have some fresh impressions about the wiki or Caves as a beginner, I would like to hear about that. Things like what is the most confusing or interesting part of the wiki/game in the eye of an amateur should help a lot.

By the way, to those who want more guides and keep checking the wiki, I will contribute on that soon.

  • What if we make separate pages for each weapon type ?

(Pistol and Revolvers, Shotguns and Crushguns, and so on..) This way we would have very detailed pages for each weapon, increasing the amount of pages on the wiki and help the newbies.

If you agree with it, i already have some ideas for a page about Pistols and Revolvers, and i'll try to complete it soon as possible.

Thanks for your attention and have a nice day.

    • -Individual pages for items can definitely help extend and complete the wiki. Yet an individual item often has very little information to make it worth the time to make a new page, considering there are so many items in the game.

-An overview look to items (which the current page is trying to do) can give overall pictures to players. If you want to add individual page, I want the overview page to be kept.

-I would love to see your template here or thru Caves discord.
