Description[]
Holodisks are small electronic devices meant to store data and information. They do not take up inventory space and have a separate inventory tab. Holodisks can be found almost anywhere and most are used to unlock mechanical chests.
Variants:[]
There are several types of holodisk, each has their own features:
Blue holodisk:[]
A common holodisk with a blue shell, they contain data required to unlock mechanical chests. By reading their contents you will discover the type of container being used, it's ID and password required to open it. These holodisks are usually dropped by enemies but there is a small chance to find them buried near their respective chests.
Damaged holodisk:[]
Due to age and improper storage some holodisks have lost some of their data, when attempting to read them some of their content such as chest IDs and passwords will be incomplete, although it isn't very hard to guess the value of the lost codes. Damaged holodisks can be found buried near their respective chests or be dropped by enemies.
Treasure coordinates:[]
These special holodisks contain the coordinates and the password required to open a mechanical chest that was buried in the location where the holodisk was found. They come in the following colors: yellow/gold or reddish orange.
These holodisks can be purchased from the Master, found inside certain structures or in treasure chests.
Green and Red holodisks:[]
The player will receive these holodisks if they choose to skip the first 2 stages and start their journey on location 3 or 4, these holodisks contain the coordinates and passwords required to unlock chests that were buried nearby.
The Green holodisk leads the player to a supply chest and the Red holodisk leads the player to a chest containing healing items.
LOG:[]
This unique holodisk contains information about the strange events that led to the death of a fellow prospector, upon reading it's contents you will unlock the armor "Prospector 0.1-A". The only way to obtain this holodisk is by witnessing the death of the other prospector.

Recycling[]
When recycling a holodisk there is a chance to receive 1-2 simple components or 1 electric element.
Recycling a holodisk does not consume a recycler charge (amount of times a recycler can be used).
