Description[]
Ancient Demons are hostile creatures that inhabit the Old Factory.
Ancient demons are the technologically advanced and magically gifted predecessors of the demons that appear in the Lava Caves, and they are at enmity with the latter. Ancient demons have mastered the use of invisibility and will use it often during combat.
Unlike their successors Ancient Demons are not immune to fire.

- Ancient Demons will drop health crystal shards if they are killed while vampirism is active.
- Ancient Demons will drop health crystal shards if they are killed by devourment weapons.
- There is a small chance that a Shadow Adept or Shadow Trooper may spawn inside a "Treasure room" in the Lava Caves.
- Ancient Demons are usually armed with special variants and will rarely use regular weapons.
- Many Ancient Demons are armed with cursed weapons, not only does this allows them to burn Demons, but also makes them more dangerous towards the player.
